Me Them
The Me Them Bed & Breakfast is named after its host, Mrs. Them. In Vietnamese, ‘Me' means ‘mother' and since ‘Them' is the name of our host, Me Them is our way of appreciating the care which Mrs. Them lavishes on all our guests.

Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Me Them B&B believes in the importance of helping the local youth and the underprivileged. Through tourism they hope to benefit their local community. For example, they support activities for street kids in the backpacker area. In addition, they work with the local children's protection charities to help raise funds for funding projects. Through support and fund raising, they believe street kids have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge, and that they have more opportunities for a successful and happy life.

"The hotel did not appear to be what is shown on website. Was infromed that all photos on website were old pictures.Nothing appeared to be as stated.AS we refused to stay cant really state that they care for the youth as all stqafed seemed to be employed by inoviet and it appears like this company personally has something to do with the hotel."

"The accommodation we were shown to appeared tp be put together from items taken from a jumble sale.AS the actual person who runs the hotel was not availble, we had to deal through tour company inoviet.Had emailed hotel requesting lower floor and was gauranteed it on arrival, the tour company has its office below hotel and was handling all check ins. We were taken to a horrible room up many flights of stairs in a very hot and dirty stair way.Would not accept this and after stating this to tour company after 1 hour we were taken to a different hotel."

"Value for money although it can get a little noisy as the airwell magnifies the noise from the lobby.
For such a low price with breakfast, what else can u ask for other than a clean bed and bath?"

"It was - to be polite - not nice. Not even sheets for the bedlinen. No space to move in the room. Breakfast was a joke, that it's not worth calling it breakfast! Recommandation: DO NOT GO THERE, not even for a night. You can find better ones for the same price!"

"The Hotel is conveniently located fronting a big park where you can have superb coffee Vietnamese style in the early morning – hot or iced. Commercial establishments are just one block away. Banks, restaurants, other hotels, etc.
The staff were indeed very cheerful, courteous and always eager to help It was our first time in Saigon. A lady named Yen gave us a glimpse of tour opportunities in areas where we can experience Vietnam in local setting. This made us feel we like to really come back and try this. A charming lady named Truc and another staff went out of their way to give me a modest but very memorable birthday celebration by giving me wonderful cupcakes with lighted candles. My wife was so pleasantly delighted. Oh, how nice and sweet of these angels. It was like our daughters from the Philippines were with us.
We left for home with fond memories of Saigon … next stop Hanoi?
