Me Them B&B believes in the importance of helping the local youth and the underprivileged. Through tourism they hope to benefit their local community. For example, they support activities for street kids in the backpacker area. In addition, they work with the local children's protection charities to help raise funds for funding projects. The staff were indeed very cheerful, courteous and always eager to help It was our first time in Saigon. A lady named Yen gave us a glimpse of tour opportunities in areas where we can experience Vietnam in local setting. This made us feel we like to really come back and try this. A charming lady named Truc and another staff went out of their way to give me a modest but very memorable birthday celebration by giving me wonderful cupcakes with lighted candles. My wife was so pleasantly delighted. Oh, how nice and sweet of these angels. It was like our daughters from the Philippines were with us.
We left for home with fond memories of Saigon … next stop Hanoi?
