Activities mark Phong Nha – Ke Bang five-year anniversary

The festival aims to call for measures to prevent the illegal trade in wild animals and advertise cave tourism potential and the unique cultural values of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
Major cultural and art activities include a fireworks show, the Nghe Temple Festival in Phong Nha Cave, gastronomy and trade village specialties 2008, a chant festival held by the local culture department and many other activities.
Also on this occasion, the provincial people's committee will host a scientific seminar entitled, "The global scientific value of Phong Nha - Ke Bang world natural heritage" and release a book, "Quang Binh cultural heritage."
