Mekong Delta 1 day: Ben Tre

This morning, you will be met at 08:00 by your guide for a full day tour travelling south from Saigon to My Tho, the gateway to Mekong Delta. Known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam, the Delta is the most fertile region in the country, and the main producer of rice and tropical fruits. Upon arrival My Tho, take a boat trip get over Tien River to An Khanh to enjoy sightseeing of floating fish farms and market on islets: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix Islands.

Take rowboat winding along narrow water palm creek before taking bicycle (12km) through coconut garden, experience local people’s daily activities along the village paths. On the way, stop to visit the local people house to see how they pack banana and coconut-leaves cakes, enjoy seasonal fruits, a local coconut candy workshop; taste candy (local special product).

Walk on monkey-bridge to see the local people making rice paper cake, rice wine. Have lunch with local cuisine before the boat trip back to My Tho City and return to Saigon.

• Under the age of 5: Free of charge for 1 child (stay in the same size car used for group).
• 5-10 years of age: 70% cost of adult ticket will be charged (stay in the same size car with their parents).

• In case of cancellation before 3 days: Free of charge.
• In case of cancellation before 24 hours: 30% cost of ticket will be charged.
• In case of cancellation before 12 hours: 75% cost of ticket will be charged.
• In case of cancellation less than 12 hours: 100% cost of ticket will be charged.
