On arrival at about midday, the hotel tried to move us on to a sister outfit " just down the road". We declined to agree and after a while, they found a room for us which was very poorly lit. When we commented on this, they then offerred another room which we happily accepted. One can do without this hassle after a long air journey. The concierge at the front door spoke excellent english and was very helpful so deserved special mention. Everything else was "okay".

We went in a group of 7. At 1st, while booking through internet, under comment column, we did indicate the 3 rooms to be on the same level. When we reached the hote, they told us it is impossible as the type of rooms of each level is different. Therefore, our 3 rooms are separated in 3 different levels. I would be happy if they informed us earlier. Overall, the front desk people are friendly and helpful. The location is at the central. The rooms are clean and spacious. From airport to hotel takes abt 30mins.

On Hotel
I booked for Spring Hotel, but was later informed, through email, that it was unavailable.
I know that it’s very convenient to correspond through email, but I suggest that for urgent matters such as unavailable hotel bookings, Innoviet should just call the client just to make sure that he/she receives the message because some people, like me, don’t always go online to check my email.

Nevertheless, it was very helpful that Innoviet had a ready suggestion for an alternative hotel, Hai Long 1 Hotel (Thank you, Khiem Do!). For a place deemed as a budget hotel, Hai Long 1 did not disappoint. The hotel staff is competent and friendly; the amenities are complete, including free breakfast and free internet access! And if you love shopping, Hai Long 1 is just walking-distance to Ben Thanh Market! What more could you ask for?
