This tour is an authentic, ‘non-touristy' and priceless experience of the lives of the people living along the delta. In addition to boat trips, there are shore excursions, including bicycle trips, which provide an up-close view of the lives of the locals. The highlights of the tour are the amazing island views, a first-hand experience of rice growing and staying in local houses, the floating markets and a very busy and colourful land market.

Day 1: Saigon - Vinh Long (_, L, D)
07:00: Catch a taxi to the bus station, jump into the local public bus and hit to Vinh Long province.
12:00: Arrive at a small village - non-touristy town in Vinh Long province, only available at Innoviet. Motorboat will bring you to the home stay; there you'll be greeted by the host family.
13:00: Have lunch in a very cozy atmosphere. Relax on hammock
14:00: Let us discover Mekong delta with 01-hour boat trip around the island to see the beautiful of nature. Visit some houses where you can meet local people and see their real life.
15:00: Enjoy 2 hours for doing gardening with local family: Being real farmers to irrigate garden, transplant trees in practically... with lots of fun and valuable experiences!
17:00: Back to the home stay. Prepare for cooking class with many recipes of Vietnamese cuisine, enjoy our results (dinner).
After a short study of Vietnamese language with our host family, we walk around the village to see and catch fire-flies before retiring in the Mekong rural house.
Day 2: Vinh Long - Can Tho (B, L, _)
06:00 Get up early to enjoy the fresh air and do some exercise to be more healthy.
06:30: Visit the floating market by boat and see how people there live and trade. Drop in the market on land where you will be Vietnamese to buy some fruits in Vietnamese.
08:00: Ride your bike (about 2 hours) around the small village roads shaded by bamboo, banana, rambutan, pomelo, and mangosteen trees. Pass the immense green rice fields with flying egrets, working farmers and admire the beautiful scenery.
Have an overview of the "Rice Making Procedure" in one Rice workshop. Get to know what are the "same same, but different" trees in the Mekong Delta. You will practice & try to guess the names of these trees just by your nose!
We visit a pagoda and stroll around a very quiet garden of pagoda.
Then boat back to the home stay, we will enjoy lunch. After taking a rest in the garden, we will say good-bye to the host family.
16:00: Local boat to Can Tho. Check in hotel. Have free time.
Day 3: Can Tho - Saigon (_, _, _)
06:30: Take a boat trip (4 hours) to see Cai Rang, the biggest floating market in the Western of Vietnam. On the way, you will visit a rice noodle factory and learn how to make rice noodle. Then take a slow boat trip along the small beautiful canals.
13:00: Local bus back to Saigon or local express bus to Rach Gia/ Chau Doc (Extra cost)
