i really only have good things to say about this hotel, so if you just work on the basis of 10/10 for everything you won,t go far wrong.

- 06 Apr 2011, Mr William S.On arrival at about midday, the hotel tried to move us on to a sister outfit " just down the road". We declined to agree and after a while, they found a room for us which was very poorly lit. When we commented on this, they then offerred another room which we happily accepted. One can do without this hassle after a long air journey. The concierge at the front door spoke excellent english and was very helpful so deserved special mention. Everything else was "okay".

The Royal Pearl is an excellent hotel, all round great service and the reception staff and restaurant staff have good English. This is very important for travellers. It can make or break a holiday.

The hotel staff was very accomadating, and helped to arrange some tours that we found in a brochure. Our only complaint was the hotel restaurant. the breakfast buffet was okay, but they didn't have/serve half the stuff on their menu. I highly recommend staying here, but eating your meals elsewhere.

Dear People , I have been to Vietnam many since 1992 . One thing for sure is this Duc Vuong Hotel is the TOP of the LINE . The people the service is some of the BEST . John Kellenbarger

- 25 Mar 2010, Mr olivier b.The reception staff wanted me to wait before leaving so they could check to see if I'd taken anything from the minibar, even after I told them I hadn't taken anything, which I thought was quite rude. This has never happened to me at any other hotel before. The hotel was incredibly crowded with numerous tour groups clogging up the lifts. One of the lifts broke. My room didn't have a window. The cleaning and porter staff were very nice and always said hello.

Welcome was offhand. At the end they double charged us for drinks from the bar fridge. We asked them to make a phone call for us because a tour bus had not come to collect us. Male did not ring and lied to us and said that he had.
- 20 Jan 2010, Mr Robert H.Very friendly and helpful staff. Some spoke better English than others. Opened restaurant 30 minutes early for me one day because I was leaving on an early tour. Continuous problems with the internet which was in a very dark room.
