Traveller Comments:
"You are asking us to give you a feedback form re Royal Pearl Hotel! Please be advised that YOUR COMPANY has made a wrong booking for us. You booked us for Aug 28-29. Our booking is for Sept 18-21. I don't really understand how this happened but I am very sure my booking was for three nites for USD 234. I have send several emails disputing the booking of Aug 28-29 and the charges. Our airline tickets are for Sept18-21 so we could have possibly NOT booked for Aug 28. I have never had any problem in the past with my online bookings in the past.
Please assist us in resolving teh problem and then we can give you VERY good reviews. Thanks "

"GOOD CLEAN HOTEL. GOOD VALVE FOR MONEY. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE WAS THEIR RESTAURANT WHICH WE FELT WAS OVERPRICED AND NOT GREAT QUALITY COMPARED TO OTHERS. BREAKFASTS WERE GOOD IN THIS HOTEL "

"The Room:
I booked for a superior room with the hotel. The room and the bathroom were well-kept, clean to our expectations. However, the room at level 6 was right to end of the corridor near the escape staircase (room no:6010). The reason why i wanted a superior room was because i wanted a window with a view. The room had a window view but unfortunately, it was right behind the bed headboard instead of away from the window. How do I know whether the room given to me was a superior room in view of its location which is right to the end of the corridor? I booked the room well before i started on my trip and expected a better superior room.
The breakfast:
The breakfast was great. i would recommend friends to have their breakfast in this hotel.
Unpleasant accounter:
This was my first visit to HCMC. I was robbed of my handphone walking back from Sinh Office to the hotel in the evening. This is a bad experience of both me and my wife. Luckily, our wallets were not robbed and no one was hurt during the robbery. The hotel was kind enough to get the help of the chief security guard to go with us to report the case to the police. I would like to thank the hotel management for this good gesture and the chief security for his help.
In general, it is a recommended hotel for travellers who are prepared to pay around US50 per night.

"The location of the hotel was fantastic. It's enable me to go to many places of interest by walking. The reception staff was very friently and helpful too. Will definately go back to Royal Pearl Hotel (Tan Hoang Ngoc) if I will to visit Ho Chi Minh again."

"The hotel has great location, with the sights within walking distance. The only complain I have about this hotel is the bed and pillows. They are not as comfortable as I hope for."
Ms. jennifer Yau - Singapore on 09/07/2008
"We had the delux room and it was very comfortable and a perfect place to rest up. The location was great and for a busy city with a lot noise the street is pretty quiet. If someone wants luxury I guess they would need a step up I guess. I would stay there again. "

"This indeed is one of the hotel I will definitely recommend. Especially for those visitor who like to do shopping, is so near to Ben Thanh Market. Highly recommended!!"
Mr. Soo Yong Chew - Singapore on 07/06/2008
"It was a good staying experience overall considering the amount we paid. Except for the IT and food served during the morning breakfast buffet. Can be better."
Ms. Lee Sun Tan - Singapore on 21/05/2008
"Very pleased over all. Staff lovely and nothing too much trouble. Handy to local market and great (cheap) Vietnamese restaurant accross the road. One thing that we have found during our travels, not just with this hotel, is that there are no tea and coffeee making facilities in the rooms. Kiwis love an early morning cuppa and having to wait until breakfast is not what we are used to."

"some renovation going on at the hotel when we were there, drilling noise started at 7am every morning! goes on until about evening time...very loud!!"
Ms. Amy Ooi - Malaysia on 11/04/2008
"Don't break anything! We had to pay for a toothpick holder cover accidently knocked to the floor at breakfast time. Look for the hairdryer in the bedside table. Problems with good internet service on occasion. Otherwise handy to Ben Thanh markets and centrally located in a relatively quiet street."
Mrs. Caroline Hofbrucker - Australia on 30/03/2008
"We found this hotel to represent good value. We found Ho Chi Minh quite expensive for accommodation in comparison to the rest of Vietnam so the Royal Pearl was quite good value for its location and condition of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean and tastefully decorated. It is a relatively new hotel.
we would recommend the deluxe rooms as there are no windows in some of the rooms."
