Taste Local Life

This tour ensures that the places you visit are not frequented by tourists, thus making it invaluable as it offers amazing views and experiences. Among the highlights are an amazing island view, a home stay where you can interact with local people, learning how to cook Vietnamese dishes, a boat ride along the river, and visits to rice-growing and carpet-making villages, a big floating market and a ghost market, Egret garden, nurseries, and ancient houses.

• 07:00: Car to Vinh Long province.
• 12:00: Arrive at a small village - non touristy town in Vinh Long province, only available at Innoviet. Motor-boat will bring you to the home-stay. There you'll be greeted by the host family.
• 13:00: Have lunch in a very cozy atmosphere. 
• 14:00: Relax on hammock.
• 14:30: Ride your bike (about 2.5 hours) around the small village roads shaded by bamboo, banana, rambutan, pomelo, and mangosteen trees. Pass the immense green rice fields with flying egrets, working farmers and admire the beautiful scenery. You will see the local students on their way back to home from school in their beautiful Ao Dai uniform. Visit some houses where you can meet local people and see their real life. Have an overview of the "Rice Making Procedure" in one Rice workshop. Get to know what are the "same same, but different" trees in the Mekong Delta. You will practice & try to guess the names of these trees just by your nose! We visit a brick factory, then walk to a pagoda and stroll around a very quiet garden of pagoda.
• 17:00: Back to the home-stay. Prepare for dinner cooking with many recipes of Vietnamese food, have dinner. Take part in a Vietnamese lesson with the family for shopping in market tomorrow. After that we walk around the village to see and catch fire-flies before retiring in one of the rural houses in the Mekong Delta.
  

• 07:00: Visit the floating market in the early morning and see how people live and trade there. Visit a market on land where you will practice your Vietnamese in shopping things for lunch, visit brick factory, rice paper workshop and back to the home-stay to join in mini cooking class. Enjoy your dishes done by yourselves, take a rest, and time to say good bye to the host family.
• 14:00: Car brings us to Sa Dec, on the way stop to see mat making village. 
• 17:00: Arrive in Sa Dec, check in hotel. Dinner and relax.
  

Day 3: Sa Dec - Cao Lanh - Saigon

• 08:00: Car picks us up from the hotel to the local restaurant for breakfast, then start to Sa Dec city tour. We will visit The Lover house, Kien An Cung Pagoda, Sa Dec flower village.
• 10:00: Car brings us to Cao Lanh and down to Xeo Quit, a small sampan boat trip and walking around to see the former base of the Viet Cong. 
• 12:00: Car back to Saigon, on the way stop for lunch.
• 17:00: Arrive in Innoviet office. End tour.
